Privacy policy

• Account: your email, display name, and which sign-in provider (Apple or Google) you used.
• Content: the people, dates, gift ideas, and given-log entries you create. These live in your account in our database (Supabase, hosted in EU).
• Device: an Expo push token so we can send reminders. Stored alongside your user id only.
• Subscription: managed by RevenueCat + Apple/Google. We see entitlement status (premium yes/no), not your payment details.

• We never log gift titles, person names, descriptions, photos, or any content to analytics or third-party telemetry.
• We do not continuously read your contacts. The optional one-time importer runs only when you tap it.
• We have no ads, no third-party trackers, and no advertising SDKs. Ever.

We use PostHog with privacy mode enabled. Events recorded are usage signals only — for example,person_added,idea_captured,reminder_fired. Properties never include the content of your ideas, names, or photos.

You can export every row tied to your account from Settings → Your data → Export as JSON. You can delete your account from the same screen. Deletion removes every row tied to your account from our database within 24 hours. For EU residents, this is your GDPR right of access (Art. 15) and erasure (Art. 17).
