Privacy policy

• Account: your email, display name, and which sign-in provider (Apple or Google) you used.
• Content: the people, dates, gift ideas, and given-log entries you create. These live in your account in our database (Cloudflare D1, primary location Western Europe).
• Device: an Expo push token so we can send reminders. Stored alongside your user id only.
• Subscription: managed by RevenueCat + Apple/Google. We see entitlement status (premium yes/no), not your payment details.

• We never log gift titles, person names, descriptions, photos, or any content to analytics or third-party telemetry.
• We have no ads, no third-party trackers, and no advertising SDKs. Ever.

We use PostHog with privacy mode enabled. Events recorded are usage signals only — for example,person_added,idea_captured,reminder_fired. Properties never include the content of your ideas, names, or photos.

You can export every row tied to your account from Settings → Your data → Export as JSON. You can delete your account from the same screen. Deletion removes every row tied to your account from our database within 24 hours. You do not need the app installed to ask. Email [email protected] from the address tied to your account and we will delete it within 48 hours. Records that Google Play or Apple keep for a completed purchase, and the subscription record held by RevenueCat, sit outside our systems and are governed by their own policies. For EU residents, this is your GDPR right of access (Art. 15) and erasure (Art. 17).
